Playground Powers
Supporting children to repair friendships, fix mistakes, work through tricky moments and get back to play.
Rory loves big playground adventures, but sometimes things don't go to plan. A big feeling grows. Someone gets upset. Words come out the wrong way. Or feelings get hurt.
Rory noticed that after tricky moments, children often want to fix things but don't always know how.
So Rory learnt something important. Friendships do not need to end over mistakes. An understanding of what went wrong, a genuine apology, a small act to make things better. Or simply saying, “That was tricky, let’s try again.”
Now Rory helps children learn how to repair friendships, solve problems and build the confidence to come back together after difficult moments. Because mistakes happen, but friendships can grow stronger when children learn how to make things right.
